Minister of Transport and Communications participates in session in Aktobe

OBE. July 24. KAZINFORM /Samal Yendibayeva/ "Rapid development of infrastructure which will ensure economic growth has always been in focus of the Kazakhstan President's attention. KZT 24 bln were allotted for the repair of the country's roads in 20001. To date this figure makes more than KZT 200 bln. KZT 766 bln have been allocated for this purpose over the last 8 years, 30 000 km of roads have been repaired", Minister of Transport and Communications Abelgazy Kussainov said at a sitting in Aktobe.
"The Road Map developed by the Government is of great importance for our Ministry since it provides for additional financing roads reconstruction and creation of working places. In total KZT 49.9 bln were envisaged countrywide, 54 000 people are involved in this work. 2 770 km of roads are planned to be repaired", the Minister said.
