Minister of Tourism of Oman plans to visit Kazakhstan

During the meeting the prospects of the Kazakhstan-Omani bilateral relations in the tourism sphere were discussed. The two counterparts expressed the common opinion that Kazakhstan and Oman have huge potential for development of tourism. The Ambassador of Kazakhstan briefly told the Minister about the preparation for the important international events that will take place in Kazakhstan, such as EXPO-2017 in Astana and Universiade-2017 in Almaty. In this regard, taking into consideration the importance of adjustment of effective cooperation in the tourist sphere, the Kazakhstani diplomat, as the first step, proposed to exchange mutual visits of heads of the related bodies of two countries. In his turn, remembering the period of his stay in Kazakhstan as the first Ambassador of Oman to Kazakhstan with warmth, the Minister A.Al-Makhrizi expressed his desire to visit Kazakhstan, at any time convenient for the parties.
