Minister of Labor reported on employment situation

ATY. July 24. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ Antirecessionary measures taken by the Government including implementation of the Road Map Program have positively influenced on the situation at labor market in the second quarter of the year; Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Gulshara Abdykalikova has informed of it today during the session in Almaty; Kazinform reports.

According to the Kazakh Statistics Agency the level of unemployment in the country decreased from 6.9 per cent by 6.7 per cent. "Pessimistic forecasts of the local authority in the beginning of the year on mass job loss of almost 136 thousand people did not com true", - the Minister said.

"KZT 191.3 bln was allocated for the implementation f the regional employment strategy and staff retraining taking into account the local co-financing. 350 thousand additional jobs are planned to be created, from which 254 thousand will be at the expense of repair works and almost 96 thousand - public service works including the program of youth practice", - G. Abdykalikova noted.

She also informed that KZT 58.5 bln was allotted from the national budget for reconstruction and construction of the facilities within the Road Map Program implementation.
