Minister of Industry and Trade told about priority tasks for next year

According to him, the work on support of industrial enterprises will be continued this year. "Special attention will be paid to the replacement of fixed assets, promotion of export, extension of the Kazakh content", A.Issekeshev said.

The second task of the Ministry concerns the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space.

"Work on formation of the Customs Union's legislative base is expected to be finished in 2010. In particular, it is necessary to develop and adopt international agreements on mechanism of placing and distribution of import customs duties, integration of the informational system of the Customs Union foreign trade, protocol on amendments to the Customs Code", the Minister noted.

The realization of the Program on Forced Industrial Innovative Development of Kazakhstan will be the third dimension of the Ministry's work.

"As earlier reported, the Government finishes working over the program. Due to the terms it will be submitted for approval together with other internal documents", A.Issekeshev said.
