Minister of Industry acquainted with Metallurgy Centre creation in Ust-Kamenogorsk

 Within the framework of this project implementation A.Issekeshev got acquainted in detail with opportunities of the scientific and production base of the metallurgical industry of the region. He visited plants Ust-Kamenogorsk Titanium-Magnesium Combine, Kazzinc, Ulba Metallurgical Plant.

The Minister visited research areas of the VNIItsvetmet and Altai regional technology park, and two engineering enterprises - Vostokmashzavod and Asia Auto.

 A.Issekeshev noted that the Metallurgy Centre created in East Kazakhstan will unite all ferrous metals enterprises on the key positions: ecologically clean technologies, energy saving productions and greater redistribution.

 The Minister informed that elaboration of the state program on Kazakhstan's metallurgical sphere development is nearing completion.

 The same day several Memorandums on cooperation were signed between the Ministry of Industry and Trade, regional akimat, Yertis SEC JSC, OUTTEC Finnish Company.
