Minister of Culture and Information: «Astana Opera» will become most recognizable symbol of Astana

As believed by him, in the XXI century in a developed and prosperous Europe only two states have designed and built opera houses: in Copenhagen in 2005 and in Oslo in 2008.

"I can say with certainty: "Astana Opera" has a classic architectural appearance. It is an ultra-modern internal snap theater which will become one of the most recognizable symbols of our capital and favourite theater for Astana residents and visitors", said the Minister.

As stressed by M. Kul-Muhammed, it is the first theater in Kazakhstan, that meets all the technical requirements for complex opera and ballet performances.

"After all, any show opera requires participation of more than a hundred people: the orchestra, chorus and ballet company. Opera synthesizes all kinds of art: music, painting, drama and singing, live action and that make it unique", concluded the Minister.
