Minister A. Issekeshev: Improvement of people's well-being - major goal of 2020 Strategy

KARAGANDA. February 25. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ All strategic directions and goals of Kazakhstan's development in the forthcoming decade were outlined in 2020 Strategy which underlay the President's Message to the Nation New Decade-New Economic Growth-New Opportunities of Kazakhstan. Minister of Industry and Trade of Kazakhstan Asset Issekeshev has said it addressing the residents of Temirtau town February 25.

"The major goal of the 2020 Strategy is improvement of well-being of people. The priorities of the Strategy focus on social protection of the population, ensuring stability and balanced foreign policy", the Minister highlighted.

"Economic growth will be based on modernization of physical infrastructure, development of human resources and strengthening the institutional base which in turn will create conditions for the country's forced industrial-innovative development", Issekeshev noted.

"For this the President charged to develop the Program of Kazakhstan's Forced Industrial-Innovative Development and the Industrialization Map", A. Issekeshev reminded. "In fact both documents provide for a detailed plan of our actions in the nearest five years", he said.
