Mineral commodities and hydrocarbons dominate CU exports, Glaziyev

ASTANA. May 24. KAZINFORM "Today the Customs Union member countries can offer the world markets only mineral commodities and hydrocarbons," deputy secretary general of EurAsEC Sergey Glaziyev.
"It takes time to expand our presence in the world markets of machine, equipment and science-intense products. But currently, mineral commodities and hydrocarbons dominate in the export structure of the CU states," he added addressing the III international investment forum Astana Invest 2012.
According to him, the CU commodity turnover grew by one third in 2011 against 2010.
