Militant killed, policeman wounded in Russia's North Caucasus

NAZRAN. May 23. KAZINFORM A militant was killed and a policeman was wounded in a shootout between a group of militants and law enforcers on the border between Chechnya and Ingushetia, in Russia's North Caucasus, a police spokesman said on Saturday; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
The spokesman said that during a joint special operation of Chechen and Ingush policemen a group of about five militants was detected moving along the border. The both sides exchanged fire and one of the militants was killed and a policeman received a light wound; Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
