MFA announces contest for best logo of Kazakhstan?s OSCE chairmanship

ASTANA. May 18. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces a contest for the best logo of Kazakhstan?s chairmanship in the OSCE. ?The logo should symbolize Kazakhstan?s image as a sovereign, stable and competitive state with bright national identity, unique historical heritage and active role in the world?, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, Official Spokesperson of the Ministry, has said at a briefing.
He also enumerated selection criteria like associativity, modernity, originality, retention, functionality and laconism. ?The logo should not arouse any negative emotions in the countries with different traditions and religions?, Y. Ashikbayev added.
The projects will be accepted till July 1. The best one will be chosen by special commission of the Ministry and awarded with a gift of money. Authors of the most interesting works will be encouraged with prizes. The rules of the contest are available at the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
