Metallurgical sector should be on top of Forced Industrialization Program - President

ASTANA. June 30. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ - Metallurgy should be one of the leading industries of the Forced Industrial-Innovation Development Program, the Kazakh President emphasized at the first International Congress of Kazakhstan on Mineral Recourses and Metallurgy.
'Mining and metallurgical complex has to increase the production of competitive, high technology products. We have all the opportunities to reach our goals', Nursultan Nazarbayev noted.
According to him we have great scientific and technical potential in metallurgical sphere and through developing innovations and new technologies we will be able to reach higher levels.
'We should also remember about preserving recourses and reusing metals. Briefly, the metallurgical sector should be on the top of the Forced Industrial-Innovation Development Program. We all have to insert every effort to realize it.' the President added.
