Met service predicts precipitation in Kazakhstan's west Jan 9

On January 9, most regions of Kazakhstan will remain under the impact of an anticyclone, which will bring predominantly dry weather, Qazinform News Agency reports.
Only western regions will face precipitation (rain and snow), along with black ice due to atmospheric fronts, Kazhydromet says.
Northern areas are expected to be hit by snow and ground blizzard.
Foggy and windy conditions are forecast countrywide.
