Men's health arises concern, Kazakhstan develops special program

ASTANA. October 4. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan develops a special state-run men's health program," chairman of the board of directors of the Dzharbussynov Scientific Centre of Urology, doctor of medicine Yerassyl Abylkassymov told the press conference held as part of the plenary session of urologists.
The forum brought together both Kazakhstan's doctors and foreign experts concerned over the men's health problems.
"We suggest drawing up a state-run men's health program to make men over 40 to undergo examination, early diagnostics and various diseases prevention. As men turn 40 they face some problems which could be easily solved. They start suffering from diabetes, hypertension, etc.," he added. The first steps have already been done. Men's health centers were set up in 8 regions of Kazakhstan."
