Memorandum of Understanding to be signed b/w Religious Affairs Agencies of Kazakhstan & UAE

During the round table the parties discussed the arrangements for the forthcoming visit of the President of the Agency for Religious Affairs of Kazakhstan Marat Azilkhanov to the Emirates, during which there will be signed a memorandum of understanding between the agencies of the two countries.

In addition the Ambassador Kairat Lama Sharif briefed about the opening of Kazakhstan's Internet portal «E-Islam», designed to provide the Kazakh youth with accurate information about Islamic values. In turn, Hamdan al-Mazrugi shared Emirati experience on the establishment of information and consultation website www.awqaf.ae .

At the end of the meeting the Kazakh diplomat presented the President of the General Agency of the UAE for Islamic Affairs and Endowments an illustrated book about the traditions and rituals of the Kazakh people.
