Meeting with heads of ODIHR election department held in Kazakh Embassy in Hungary

ASTANA. February 2. KAZINFORM A meeting with heads of the OSCE ODIHR election department Beata Martin-Rozumilowicz and Igor Dolgih was held in the Kazakh Embassy Hungary on the initiative of the OSCE ODIHR, the press service of the Kazakh Embassy reports.

The main purpose of the visit of the ODIHR delegation to Hungary is estimation of the pre-election situation in the country and development of recommendations on the methodology of the parliamentary elections observance, planned in the country in April this year.

Within the meeting the mission of the Bureau was briefed on the opinion of the Embassy of the OSCE chairing country on the current state and forecasts of development of the pre-election situation in the country.

Issues of interaction between the Kazakh representation in the ODIHR aimed at effective realization of the humanitarian tasks outlined in the video address of the Head of the State and the Kazakh State Secretary during the 787 inauguration session of the OSCE Permanent Council were discussed at the meeting as well.
