Meeting of Presidents of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan takes place in Minsk

As Executive Secretary of the Customs Union's Commission Sergey Glazev informed, the Commission proposed 11 issues for the consideration of the Heads of the States. All issues were discussed ad approved.

"Today we must define the perspectives which three states approach from to the establishment of the Customs Union and the single customs space, whether our countries are ready for it. We must take particular decisions on these issues", Belarusian Heads A.Lukashenko said, opening the meeting.

According to him, the decisions that will be taken today must provide involvement of the Union member states into the world political, economic processes, promote increase of competitive ability and efficiency of the national economies, and as the result improve welfare of people of three countries.

As A.Lukashenko noted, the agenda of the session of the EurAsEC Interstate Council is urgent. In this regard, Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan hold trilateral meeting first, where they discuss the issues of establishment of the Customs Union concerning three states. Meetings of Heads of the other EurAsEC member state will be held later.
