Meeting of Ministers of Culture of SCO member states takes place in China

BEIJING. March 27. KAZINFORM /Ruslan Suleimenov/ Politburo Standing Committee's member of the CPC Central Committee Li Changchun met with heads of delegations arrived in China to take part in the seventh meeting of Ministers of Culture of the SCO member states and SCO Secretary General Muratbek Imanaliyev in Beijing on Friday.

Li Changchun expressed hope on extension of cultural exchange between the SCO member states in order to strengthen mutual understanding and traditional friendship, assist in development of the cooperation in political, economic and other fields between the Organization member states.

On behalf of all participants of the meeting M.Imanaliyev expressed gratitude to the Chinese side for warm reception and good organization of the meeting. "The current meeting of the Ministers of Culture will promote strengthening of friendship between people of the SCO member and observer states", he stressed.

The meeting of Ministers of Culture of the SCO member states takes place in Sanya city on March 25-29. The Kazakh delegation is headed by Minister of Culture Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed.
