Over the past 10 years our healthcare has been in the system of permanent reformation, a lot has been done in the country. In the implementation of the first governmental program more than 500 hospitals were built in the country, “National medical holding” was created in Astana, and now conditions, equipment, norms and medical service opportunities in these hospitals are on the same level with centers of the west. The set global tasks allowed us to create a very strong structure in the healthcare system over 5 years. A special task was set by the Head of the state: doors of all clinics in Kazakhstan should be open for you, so that you had an opportunity to go to any of the centers and see how equipment works there after studentship, during internship training, for you will work with this equipment. And in accordance with this proposal from the Head of the state, with this instruction, we sing similar memorandums in all medical universities”, - the vice-minister of health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Erik Baizhunusov noted in his speech.

It’s worth noting that this joint cooperation of the Medical university and major medical clinics of Astana city will contribute to improvement of medical education quality and improve service quality for the city population.

Signing of the memorandum is a step to solve problems of staff deficit in medical institutions of the city. I can say that today there is deficit of doctors. Especially specialized doctors - we need over 100 doctors. That is why signing of the memorandum is an important step to solve topical problems and elimination of staff deficit; and the second, critical step - advanced training of our medical workers, which determines the level of medicine in the capital and in the whole republic”, - the deputy akim of Astana city Aida Balayeva said in the course of her speech.
