Medical simulation centers to be established countrywide by 2015 - Ministry of Healthcare

ASTANA. June 15. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Today at a press conference in Astana Director of the Science and Human Resources Department of the Healthcare Ministry Nurgul Khamzina said that the centers for medical simulation would be established countrywide by 2015. According to her, the project will be realized within Salauatty Kazakhstan draft state program of healthcare development for 2011-2015.

"The state program envisages huge financial funds for opening the simulation centers in all 14 regions and Almaty, Astana cities", N. Khamzina noted.
According to her, the simulation centers will be established on the ground of large clinical hospitals within the period of 2012-2015.
"The doctors working in this region will be able to refine their practical skills on these modern simulators, models and phantoms. Today the technologies allow us to model the human body, and all possible reactions ", she added.
For the first time the simulation centers appeared in Kazakhstan in2007 on the ground of six public medical schools. The cost of one such center amounts to KZT 100 mln.
