Medical cluster and holy places attract 3,000 Kazakh tourists to Jordan - B.Sarsenbayev

KAZINFORM - Up to 3 thousand Kazakh tourist annually visit Jordan due to its developed medicine the most famous holy places, this has been said by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Jordan, part-time - in Lebanon and Palestine Bulat Sarsenbayev during the official opening of the street in Astana in honor of the former late Jordanian King Hussein Bin Talal.

Annually about 3 thousand Kazakhstani citizens visit the country. In 2007, King Abdullah II after his visit to Kazakhstan issued a decree on issuing visas to our citizens at the border, which is simplified visa regime", said B.Sarsenbayev. In addition, the Ambassador noted that the total number of visitors is 250 thousand tourists per year. Jordan medical centers with modern equipment have specialists who have received medical education in Europe, USA and CIS countries. Therefore, there are a lot of Russian-speaking doctors. Temple of Petra, Jerash, baptism site of Jesus Christ attract many tourists from around the world. In addition, the Kazakh Embassy in Jordan is working out the issue on launching direct air flights from Kazakhstan to Jordan. In the negotiations on the issue involved the mayor of Amman Beltadzhi Akel who was general manager of the Jordanian national airline "Royal Jordan".
