Massimov urges Environmental Protection Ministry to pay attention to drinking water issues

ASTANA. January 20. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has urged Minister of Environmental Protection Nurgali Ashimov to pay special attention to the issues of drinking water at the enlarged session of the Ministry's Board today.
"One more issue, to which I want to pay attention, is the issue of drinking water, our reservoirs and trans-border rivers. You know, that the Head of the State gave instructions to you, and it is necessary to hold all negotiating processes for their execution", K.Massimov said.
The Premier noted that there appear questions connected with trans-border rivers with the Russian Federation.
"These issues should be raised and solved at the ministerial level. Otherwise we will solve them at my level, and then at the level of the Head of the State", the Premier resumed.
