Massimov promises to support additional financing of Statistics Agency

"I support approaches in the directions of the Agency's activity and will support your proposals, including on financing. You should work out these issues for submission to the Ministry of Economy", the Premier said.

Earlier, Agency's Chairman Alikhan Smailov addressed the head of the Government with a request to allocate a necessary amount of KZT 525 mln for acquisition of active network equipment and structured cabling system, and KZT 15 mln for elaboration of a feasibility study, creation of an electronic statistics system.

"This financing will allow to implement a preparatory stage for introduction of the E-Statistics system", A.Smailov emphasized.

A.Smailov noted the necessity of additional financing in amount of KZT 70 mln for completion of data processing of the census and formation of output tables, because this work was not completed in 2009 and the financing was cut.
