The main purpose of the visit is to familiarize with the implementation of the instructions of the President on increase the rate of Kazakhstani specialists in the major foreign and joint companies, including the companies that take part I realization of Atyrau region projects - development of the Tengiz and Korolev fields and Kashagan offshore oilfield.

As the Prime Minister was informed the activity of the institution has narrow specialization. This is retraining of personnel of the oil and gas sector. That is the only specialized center in Kazakhstan, which prepares personnel for work at offshore facilities. The center is able to train 300 people simultaneously. Instructors have at least 10 years of practical experience in their specialty. Average training duration is 2-3 months. The training center focuses on practical exercises. On completion of the course graduates receive certificates of international standard. Over the past 2 years 1,100 people were trained here.
