Marchers in Yemen condemn protester deaths

Two people were killed and 10 others were wounded on Monday in the capital, Sanaa, according to witnesses and medical officials in Sanaa's Change Square.

Marchers took to the streets in Sanaa and protested in other provinces, including Taiz and Aden, according to witnesses.

"Any attack that takes place is an attack on all Yemenis. Everyone in the Saleh regime will be held accountable for the crimes against protesters," said Wael Nofel, a youth leader in Taiz.

Mansoor Muneef, a youth marcher in Sanaa, said the marchers won't use violence even if the government does.

The marchers are calling for the departure of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, being treated in Saudi Arabia after an assassination attempt last month.

Witnesses say attacks against protesters have calmed since Saleh left the country.
