Management of CSTO collective forces discussed in Moscow

MOSCOW. August 15. KAZINFORM Matters concerning the management of the collective forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization were discussed at a session of the CSTO Permanent Council in Moscow on 13 August, the press service of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia told BelTA.

Among other things the session tabled draft regulations on managing the CSTO troops (collective forces).

Members of the Permanent Council also discussed practical matters concerning the progress in preparations for regular sessions of CSTO charter bodies. Apart from that, the operation of the international center for cataloging articles of supply of the armies of the CSTO member states was discussed.

At the session Belarus was represented by Senior Counselor of the Embassy Sergei Ivanov. CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordiuzha took part in the session as well as Chief of the CSTO United Staff, Lieutenant-General Alexander Studenikin, representatives of the CSTO United Staff command and heads of structural divisions of the CSTO secretariat, BelTA reports.
