Man survives lightning strike in E Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A powerful lightning bolt struck a man and his horse in East Kazakhstan region on Wednesday.
According to reports, the accident occurred on April 13 in a rural area of Abaiskiy district. The lighting killed the horse. The man survived, but sustained second- and third-degree burns to 5% of his body.
The man was rushed to the nearest hospital and later transferred to a hospital in Semey.
