Man sentenced to 6 months in prison in Aktau for bitting off man's finger

AKTAU. KAZINFORM - A 33-year-old resident of Aktau was sentenced to 6 months in prison for bitting off a seller's finger, AKI Press reported citing regional news edition Aktau-Lada.
The convict was reportedly drunk that day and went to nearby shop for more alcohol asking the seller to borrow him KZT 2,000.
When he was rejected, the man started fighting. As a result, the seller was sent to a hospital with bleeding arm as his finger was bitten off. The biter was detained by police that day.
The defendant did not plead guilty during the trials, however the witnesses testified his guilt.
The victim asked the court for recovery of material and moral damages in the amount of KZT 2 million.
