Man kidnaps a woman, sells for sexual slavery to Astana

ASTANA. August 21. KAZINFORM — Department for Organized Crime Control of Akmola region has detained a man who kidnapped and trafficked a woman, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informs.
"Officers of the Department for Organized Crime Control of Kostanay region have apprehended a 22-year-old criminal of the area who in April, 2013 in the city of Kokshetau kidnapped and illegally held in a flat a 29-year-old woman and then sold her for KZT 30,000 for sexual slavery to Astana", the statement read.
"Criminal case under Article 126 Part 2 of the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan was initiated. The investigation is going on", the press-service of the Ministry reports.
