Man commits self-immolation act in Karaganda

KARAGANDA. January 8. KAZINFORM – In Karaganda a 30-year-old man has committed an act of self-immolation in a shopping boutique located in "Karaganda" hotel.
The incident occurred today at about 2 pm. According to emergency paramedics the man has died of burns on the spot of the accident.
"He entered the boutique, doused himself with gasoline and set himself on fire'', eyewitnesses said.
According to the preliminary version the cause of the accident was a quarrel between the man and the young girl who worked as a seller in the boutique.
"The victim was a man born in 1983. Team of investigators are working on site", the press service of the regional Internal Affairs Department reports.
