Malaysia to open diplomatic mission in Astana

ASTANA. June 6. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Today the governments of Kazakhstan and Malaysia have signed an agreement on mutual provision of land for construction of buildings of diplomatic missions.
Kazakh Minister of Foreign Affairs Yerzhan Kazykhanov and his Malaysian colleague Anifah bin Haji Aman signed the document.
At a bilateral meeting with Dato' Sri Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov characterized the relations between the two countries as fraternal ones.
"Our countries are similar in many respects: structure, mentality, religion. I think that we can do a lot together," K.Massimov noted.
