Kazakh boxer Makhmud Sabyrkhan (54kg) guaranteed himself a medal at the ASBC Asian Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships in Chiang Mai, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.
Makhmud Sabyrkhan propelled to the semifinals by defeating an athlete of Sri Lanka in the 2nd round. The Kazakh athlete won the bout by unanimous decision.
Recall that the Kazakh athlete secured an early win for the second time in a row.
