Majority of respondents ready to participate in Affordable Housing Program - poll

ASTANA. September 8. KAZINFORM The results of the poll conducted on the website of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, PM.kz, show that the majority of respondents (92%) are ready to participate in the new housing construction program "Affordable Housing - 2020" through the housing construction savings system.

33% of respondents expressed readiness to take part in the housing construction program in case if the government guarantees safety of savings of depositors of "Zhilstroysberbank", 20% of respondents - if the quality of housing construction is high.

Besides, 39% of respondents will participate in the program if the prices for housing sold within the program are below the market price.

8% of respondents prefer not to take any housing loans.

As earlier reported, the Affordable Housing - 2020 Program is implemented by the Government in order to fulfill instructions of the President set in his recent State-of-the-Nation Address.
