Majilismen introduced 654 amendments to draft law on subsoil management

"The significance of the project is great. The extractive industry in our country is still a backbone branch of economy so the investment climate in the country as well as the issues of welfare of our people depend on the extent the issues of subsoil use are regulated", Y. Nigmatulin said.

According to him, almost all Majilis deputies took part in the discussion. 41 sessions of the working group and one roundtable were held on the given document. Besides the representatives of national companies, associations and non-governmental organizations took an active part in the sessions as well. As a whole, over 1,700 amendments were introduced. As a result 654 amendments were adopted.

The proposals introduced by the deputies cover the issues having significance in the improvement of the investment climate, dynamic development of geologic exploration and extract of subsoil resources as well as protection of sate interests in subsoil management.
