Majilis Vice Speaker receives Special Representative of UN Sec Gen Miroslav Jenca

ASTANA. August 26. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Vice Speaker of the Kazakh Majilis Zhanybek Karibzhanov has received Special Representative of the UN Secretary General, director of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy in Central Asia Miroslav Jenča.
The press service of the Majilis informs of it.
They discussed the issues regarding the International conference in Astana dedicated to the International Day against Nuclear Tests which is marked for the first time in the world. There was noted historical significance of the peaceful initiatives of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and the visit of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to our country.
There also was considered a number of issues connected with the political processes in Kyrgyzstan, economy development and humanitarian assistance to this country. Major attention was paid to the OSCE and UN interaction.
There was noted the OSCE Summit which will be held in Astana in December.
