Majilis Speaker received Global Coordinator of Parliamentarians for Nuclear Non-proliferation and Disarmament

The Speaker thanked the guest for his readiness to participate in an international forum "For a nuclear free world."

"Your organization, which is aimed at uniting together efforts of parliamentarians of the countries of the world on nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament, is well known to our parliamentarians. Our common goal is to make the XXI century a nuclear-free century," U.Mukhamedzhanov.

He outlined that Kazakhstan is adherer to peace and security. The first most important act of President Nursultan Nazarbayev was the Decree on closure of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site. After this, Kazakhstan signed all major documents on nuclear disarmament.

Alyn Ware, in his turn, informed that his organization unites more than 800parliamentarians from 75 countries of the world.
