Majilis Speaker meets representatives of Greece, France, Russia within ?Modern Kazakhstan and ?Path to Europe? conference

ASTANA. May 21. KAZINFORM Kazakh Majilis Speaker Ural Mukhamedzhanov has held bilateral meetings with representatives of Greece, France and Russia within the framework of an international scientific conference ?Modern Kazakhstan and ?Path to Europe?; Kazinform refers to the Majilis?s press service.
Greece was represented by deputies of the Hellenic Parliament Dimitrios Christofilogiannis and Vyron Polydoras, France ? by the deputy of the National Assembly of France and the ex-deputy of French Congress, Russia ? by Secretary General of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly Mikhail Krotov and deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly Valentin Chernyavsky.
At the bilateral meetings the guests noted that the conference has a big significance. The Greek party emphasized, that they recognized the role of Kazakhstan as a guarantor in the stabilization of the situation in the region. The French parliamentarians said that the forum creates a basis for new relations. Noting significance of the conference, the Russians spoke for further conveyance of the Eurasian idea of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
