Majilis Speaker arrives in Baku

BAKU. KAZINFORM - Speaker of the Majilis Kabibulla Dzhakupov has arrived in Baku to participate in the V plenary session of TurkPA which will take place in June 12-13 in the capital of Azerbaijan.

During the visit, Kazakhstan Majilis Speaker will have bilateral meetings with his colleagues from Azerbaijan, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will hold talks with heads of delegations participating in the session of TurkPA. The plenary session of the organization will focus on international relations, economics, trade, finance, social, cultural and humanitarian issues. Following the plenary session of TurkPA, it is planned to adopt the final document - the Baku Declaration. Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking Countries (TURKPA) was established on November 21, 2008, according to the Agreement signed by the Heads of parliaments of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, and the Republic of Turkey in Istanbul.
