Majilis ratifies Kazakhstan-Russia Agr't on coop in exploring and using outer space

ASTANA. December 15. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Kazakh Majilis has approved draft Law "On ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Russian Federation on cooperation in the field of exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes" at a plenary session.
The goal of the Agreement signed on May 22, 2008 is creation of the legal and organization basis for mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of exploration and use of outer space. There is provided cooperation in exploring outer space, Earth remote sensing, spacecrafts elaboration, as well as in other spheres.
