Majilis ratifies Kazakh-Finnish agr't on double taxation avoidance

ASTANA. May 5. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Majilis of the Kazakhstan Parliament approved the Draft Law "On ratification of the Agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Finland on Double Taxation Avoidance and Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income and Related Protocol" at a plenary sitting on Wednesday.
As Finance Minister Bolat Zhamishev noted, the agreement is aimed at strengthening and expanding economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Finland through creation of favorable conditions for investing. The Agreement and Related Protocol were signed on March 24, 2009 in Helsinki.
