Majilis ratified amendments to Kazakh-US Agr't on rail transit of special cargo through Kazakhstan

TANA. November 2. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Kazakh Majilis has approved a draft Law "On ratification of the Protocol on amendments to the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the United States of America on ensuring commercial rail transit of special cargo through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan in connection with participation of the United States of America in efforts to stabilize and recover the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on June 20, 2010" at a plenary session.
Introducing the bill, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Konstantin Zhigalov noted that the Agreement is contribution to the multinational effort on solution of the Afghan problem.
