Majilis marked Parliament's 15th anniversary

ASTANA. January 31. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Kazakhstan leads the CIS states on the pace of economic development. Chairman of the Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament U.Mukhamedzhanov has made it public at a meeting dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Kazakh Parliament today.
"Kazakh model of market relations was established on the basis of the global experience. We strived to joint the most developed countries of the world. This stipulated the necessity of introducing innovations, making Kazakhstan and industrialized country", the Speaker said. As U.Mukhamedzhanov noted, in this regard the level of education, science and management needed to be permanently raised.
"The President emphasized the importance of the substantial increase of the Parliament's role, strengthening the influence of the political parties. Today these requirements are gradually implemented", the Speaker said.
