Majilis lands a helping hand to families of Arkankergen victims

ASTANA. June 5. KAZINFORM Today Kazakhstan mourns for 15 border guards who died at the Arkankergen border outpost.
Deputies of Majilis, Lower Chamber of the Parliament, will donate one-day salary to the families of Arkankergen victims, chamber's press service says.
Yesterday President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev declared June 5 a day of national mourning in connection with the tragedy. "They died at watch while serving their country, protecting its borders and security of all Kazakhstanis. They sacrificed their lives in the name of peace and future of Kazakhstan. This is the tragedy of the whole nation not only of their families and loved ones," President Nazarbayev's statement reads.
