Majilis discuss amendments to subsoil use regulation

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - At today's meeting of the working group of the Committee on Ecology and Nature, Majilis has discussed the draft law "On introducing amendments and addenda to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on subsoil use".
The bill is aimed at simplifying the procedure of granting rights for subsoil use. In particular, required procedures for making subsoil use contract will be reduced by 60%. In addition, the bill provides for optimization of granting the right of subsoil use based on the auction and so on. Recall that opening the fourth session of the Parliament of the fifth convocation President Nursultan Nazarbayev assigned MPs to consider the bill as a matter of priority.
