Majilis debated draft law amending budget for 2012-2014

Kazakh Minister of Industry and Economic Development Bakytzhan Sagyntayev presenting the bill noted that amendments are being inserted in the context of specification of the national measure of Kazakhstan's social and economic development in 2012 and appropriation of funds, related to the optimization of expenses of the budget projects' administrators.

The introduced amendments are aimed at realization of Nursultan Nazarbayev's Address to the people of Kazakhstan as of January 27, 2012. The bill provides for additional allocation of significant means for "Employment Program 2020", "Available Housing 2020", regional development, increase in human capital assets, development of agrarian sector, industrial and innovation development, improvement of the quality of public services, development of tourism and sports, and foreign policy.
