Majilis chairman received Japanese parliamentarians

Noting Japan's great contribution to nuclear non-proliferation which holds the key position among the most important problems of the global security, U. Mykhamedzhanov expressed gratitude to Japan's colleagues for active participation in the International For a Nuclear-Free World Forum in Astana.

Japanese parliamentarians highly appreciating Kazakhstan's contribution to strengthening of peace voiced full support to Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev's initiatives put forward at the Forum. The Astana Declaration issued following the Forum became another step to joining together efforts of the entire progressive mankind to the nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament.

Besides, the parties debated further development of interparliamentary and bilateral cooperation issues.
