Majilis approves draft law of the Criminal Code in second reading

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Today at the plenary session of the Majilis deputies have approved in the second reading the draft law of the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan.
As noted by the Committee on Legislation and Judicial Reforms conceptual directions of criminal policy development, which are implemented in the law, extend tolerant approach in respect of offenses committed for the first time or by socially vulnerable persons and increase legal liability for serious crimes, repetition of crime, organized crime and obstruction of justice.
