Majilis approved ratification of Nairobi Treaty on the Protection of the Olympic Symbol

"The treaty is aimed at protecting the Olympic symbol from illegal use for commercial purposes. The symbol of the Olympic Games is composed of five interlocking rings, colored blue, yellow, black, green, and red on a white field", Kazakhstan Vice Minister of Justice Amirkhan Amanbayev said introducing the draft law.

According to the Minister, it is permitted to use the symbol by the media for the purpose of distribution of information about Olympic movement and activities.
