Majilis approved ratification of amendments to Customs Union Agreement on veterinary and sanitary measures

ASTANA. January 26. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan approved the draft Law 'On ratification of the Protocol on amendments to the Customs Union Agreement on veterinary and sanitary measures as of December 11, 2009'.
Agriculture Minister of Kazakhstan Akhylbek Kurishbayev representing the bill noted that the Protocol was signed on May 21, 2010 in Saint-Petersburg between the Customs Union member countries.
According to the Minister under conditions of these amendments the authorized bodies of the Customs Union member states may have joint inspections of organizations and individuals involved in production, processing and storage of the goods under the control imported to the territories of the Customs Union.
