ANA. September 25. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ "The main task of the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization and the Kazakh Government is to organize the best session of the Assembly", UN-WTO Conference Secretariat Chief Dominique Bernadette said Friday at the press conference.
18 session of the UNWTO General Assembly will be held in Astana on October 2-9. about 500 participants from 145 countries will discuss the world tendencies in the field of tourism. The event will be important stage in the history of the Assembly as long as the General Secretary of the Organization will be chosen.
The Assembly will be held with use of new information-media strategy for the first time in the UN history. Journalists of world TV companies Aljazeera, CNN, BBC, and France Press are already accredited for covering the event.
