M5.8 quake jolts Fukushima, Japan

TOKYO. January 12. KAZINFORM A magnitude-5.8 earthquake jolted Japan's Fukushima at around 12:20 p.m. local time (0320 GMT) Thursday, according to Japan Meteorological Agency; Kazinform refers to Xinhua.

The epicenter was initially determined at 36.9 degrees north latitude, 141.3 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 20 km.
Strong tremor was felt near Tokyo. But so far no damage has been reported; Kazinform cites Xinhua.
